Your PC must be protected permanently on the net to avoid being infected. You must use an antivirus and a firewall. These scans are free to perform with Internet Explorer, not Firefox. These scans will disinfect your PC directly (as bitdefender online for example) or provide you with a report indicating the location of bugs not disinfected (or panda kaspersky online). You then manually delete the infected files listed in the report!
A-Squared is to be used in conjunction with a three online anti-virus programs listed below. It is an anti-trojan and an anti-dialers (programs that use your phone line to your knowledge to call numbers, resulting in a high phone bill).
