Capable Xbox 360 Pro Game Systems | Treatment 4 Depression
Also did it because consoles have to be fully standardized, so that they can perform at every game ever for the platform. Nothing wrong with that. There is in fact a sanctioned software development kit forHomebrew programmers, …
The xbox 360 pro system is one of the most popular video game systems on the market today, and as the second video game console offered by Microsoft and.

Cheesy titles aside, the topic of gaming consoles is a serious one. Last year it was estimated that he video gaming industry will reach $63 billion in sales by 2013 (assuming the world doesn't end in 2012, of course). That's a lot of money and reason enough for Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft to vie for your business. The question is; which console is better? Which one deserves your hard earned cash? Though the prices have dipped, it's not an easy question to answer and to be honest it's usually different for each person. And don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Nintendo Wii - Many hardcore gamers consider this console to be for children. Truth is the Wii is the only place to find iconic titles such as Mario, Zelda and Metroid. Anyone who loves the original Nintendo and Super Nintendo will love games such as Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime: Trilogy. These are all single player games though. The Wii also excels in multiplayer and I would consider it an ideal party console with titles such as Super Smash Bro's Brawl, Super Mario Kart, Guitar Hero 5 and even Wii Sports, which comes free with the console. Aside from these, though, there aren't that many games considering most seem to release on the other two consoles but leave this one out. When the Wii was first released the sales were so huge that Nintendo couldn't keep up with production. Nintendo went way out of the box with the Wii by introducing a more active means of controlling your game and in the process marketed it to everyone, old and young (I still remember that commercial with the older couple bowling together on Wii Sports). Innovations and advertising aside, the Wii is the least powerful of all three consoles, being only a slight graphical upgrade from its predecessor, the Gamecube. The Wii (which, come October, will cost $199) can play Gamecube games and many older Nintendo games are available to purchase on Wii Ware.
Sony Playstation 3 - The PS3 is the powerhouse of the consoles with specs that probably rivals all but the most up-to-date computers. Along with the Wii it also has its own legacy of classic games with Metal Gear Solid, Tekken, Grand Theft Auto and Final Fantasy (I still wonder why the franchise was moved from Nintendo to Playstation). The console is also the home of FFXI, one of the only MMOs to grace a console, and will be home to FFXIV, the up-and-coming MMO by Square-Enix. One huge bonus is the fact that the PS3 can also be used as a Blu-ray Player (so clever of Sony…the PS3 is probably what made the blu-ray drive win over the HD-DVD drive). Recently Sony introduced the new PS3 Slim which sells for $299. It also comes in a larger version for $399. Originally backwards compatible with the PS and PS2, oddly that is no longer the case. It seems from now on the PS3 will only be compatible with the original PS games…seems someone messed up somehow and now it's too late to fix it.
Microsoft Xbox 360 - The Xbox is a relative newcomer to the consoles after a short power vacuum from the collapse of another gaming console (RIP Sega). Many claim the Xbox 360 has too many problems to bother with but it has quite a devout followers as it's a good multiplayer platform with many FPS titles to choose from. Probably its greatest claim to fame is the widely popular FPS series, Halo, but it also has most of the games PS3 has and actually many games that were originally unique to Playstation are now jumping over to the Xbox, namely, Tekken 6, Final Fantasy XIII, and Grand Theft Auto IV. The Xbox has a few different models at different prices: Xbox 360 Arcade for $199, Xbox 360 for $249 and Xbox 360 Elite for $299. The Xbox 360 is compatible with many, but not all Xbox games.
